Lynda Lumpur

I was born in Port Talbot in 1954, trained as a nurse in Cardiff, where I met Alan in 1976. We married in 1977 and lived in Caerphilly for 7 years where we had our 2 children, Sion & Nerys, in 1978 & 1980. We moved to Berkshire with Alan’s job in 1984 & lived there for 35 years apart from 5yrs in Kuala Lumpur, (hence the nickname 😉). We moved to Woolhampton, a small village between Reading & Newbury in 2005 which was going to be our retirement home but sadly I lost Alan in 2011, a year after he retired. After covid I decided it was time to downsize so followed my daughter to Southampton and now live in Hamble with my 2 Shih Tzus. Still very much Welsh at heart and love rugby, supporting Wales through good times & bad!! My other love is singing, I was in the Glamorgan youth choir as a teenager and now am in a choir called Sing4Fun which I love.
