Lovely show this morning. It is so uplifting I love it. I loved all the hyms

Quiz Question

I got man flu 🤒 so the quiz question is a bit late. But here it is:

In 1965 The Byrds released "Turn, Turn, Turn" (to everything is a season). It got to #26 in the UK singles chart. It's original writer Peter Seeger was inspired to pen this song by a book of the Bible.

Questions:

1. Which book? 📖

2. Which biblical King is said to have written this book? 👑

Listen on Sunday who got it right! 👍

Can you play 'How Deep the Father's Love For us' on your Sunday show please?

Also, are you giving us a quiz question this week?

Yes I am pleased to play that for you.

Care Homes

My ADHD brain is on overdrive with ideas 🧠 💥 and I got man flu 🤒

Anyway, on last Sundays show I mentioned a local care home who got in touch, and I dedicated a song to them so a member of staff could play it from their device...which got me thinking...all those lonely folk who can't physically get to church or chapel anymore...so what would happen if a few of the brew crew contacted their local care/nursing home to

a) tell them about the show/s

b) show a member of staff on duty how to access the app or listen via tune in

c) and ask the Home if they would like a hymn or song dedicated to them one Sunday?

It might just make a difference to someone's day, spark memories, and bring smiles across the miles.
